This Build on Ethereum workshop is an advanced-level learning program designed for developers who want to deepen their understanding of Ethereum and modern Web3 infrastructure. It goes beyond basic smart contracts and focuses on real-world blockchain systems, scaling solutions, and decentralized application architecture.

The course begins with hands-on development using Remix IDE, helping learners practice writing and deploying smart contracts directly on Ethereum. It then expands into deeper Web3 topics such as decentralized exchange (DEX) helper functions and DeFi protocol integration, including APIs like 1inch aggregation for optimized trading routes.

A major part of the workshop focuses on Ethereum scalability. You will learn about Layer 2 solutions such as rollups and zero-knowledge proofs, which improve transaction speed and reduce gas fees. It also explores infrastructure projects like Scroll and how they support scalable blockchain applications.

In addition, the course introduces advanced identity and security concepts through Polygon ID, as well as cross-chain communication using protocols like Hyperlane. You will also learn about contract deployment workflows, L1–L2 messaging, and real-world interaction patterns between blockchain layers.
