This module focuses on the evaluation of energy efficiency in buildings and highlights the wide range of benefits associated with improving energy performance. It is designed to help learners understand how energy efficiency is measured, assessed, and applied in real-world building systems.

The module begins with introductory lessons that outline the structure and objectives of Module 3. These introductions help learners prepare for more detailed technical content related to energy evaluation methods.

One of the key topics covered is the evaluation of energy efficiency, where learners explore how building performance is analyzed using different assessment techniques. This includes understanding energy consumption patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and measuring improvements over time. The lessons are divided into parts (2a and 2b) to provide a structured and easy-to-follow learning experience.

Another important focus of this module is the multiple benefits of energy efficiency. Learners will discover how energy-efficient buildings not only reduce energy consumption but also improve environmental sustainability, reduce operational costs, enhance occupant comfort, and support long-term economic and social benefits.

By the end of this module, learners will have a clear understanding of how energy efficiency is evaluated and why it is essential for sustainable building design and energy management strategies.
