This course provides a complete review of head-to-toe nursing assessments, essential for NCLEX exam preparation and clinical practice. It begins with overall physical health assessment techniques, emphasizing systematic evaluation from head to toe. Specific assessments include head and neck evaluation, ENT examination, cranial nerve testing (I-XII), and lymph node assessment. Chest assessment covers heart and lung auscultation, palpation, and inspection, while lung auscultation landmarks, sounds, and proper stethoscope placement are detailed. Abdominal assessment includes bowel sounds, vascular sounds, palpation, and inspection techniques. Eye assessment and upper and lower extremity evaluations are discussed, along with temporal and radial pulse palpation skills. Neuro assessments are reinforced through deep tendon reflex examination instruction.
