This Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma course provides a comprehensive understanding of how organizations maintain and improve quality across processes and products. The course starts with the fundamentals of Quality Management Systems (QMS), highlighting the key elements, differences between QA and QC, and concepts like CTQ (Critical to Quality) and CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action). Learners explore Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), TQM (Total Quality Management), and the dimensions of quality to ensure product excellence. The course covers Lean Manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, JIT, SMED, Heijunka, Value Stream Mapping, and One-Piece Flow, along with process analysis techniques like SIPOC diagrams, Pareto Principle, Fishbone diagrams, FMEA, 8D, PDCA cycle, and root cause analysis with 5 Whys.
