The post is located at the UNODC Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa (ROMENA) in Cairo, Egypt.
The Programme Coordinator will report to the UNODC Regional Representative for the Middle East and North Africa.

Responsibilities

The focus of this position is to support the Regional Representative to oversee Project Managers and the Operations Team in implementing projects in the region in multiple thematic areas covering drug control, crime prevention, criminal justice, research and trend analysis, terrorism prevention, health and livelihoods and policy support activities. The Programme Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the development and implementation of UNODC programming through the Regional Programme for the Arab States, in line with United Nations/UNODC strategies, policies, standards and rules.
