Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at Madinaty Language School. The Social Worker will play a critical role in promoting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our students by providing support and resources to both students and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and support to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive school environment
- Facilitate communication between students, families, and school staff to address any concerns or challenges
- Plan and implement programs that promote social-emotional learning and well-being
- Assist students in developing coping strategies and problem-solving skills
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and interventions
- Work with external agencies and resources to support students and families in need
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and families in educational or community settings
- Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and relevant social services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students and families
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a student-centered approach
- Knowledge of current best practices in social work and counseling within educational environments
