ummary of the role: A laboratory Administrative Assistant manages the day-to-day operations of logging and preparing samples for lab work, this includes and is not limited to maintaining records, coordinating needs and communicating them with relevant stakeholders necessary; to ensure an efficient and effective workflow and turn around time.
Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to the lab by receiving and registering patient specimens.
• Maintaining accurate records of data and validate patient's relevant data and required tests.
• Inputting and updating data in management systems and databases. while maintaining high level of accuracy
• Performing general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, uploading and storing patient files on system
• Archive patient files.
• Follow up on tests results
• Follow established lab administration protocols, standards and quality procedures.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree from reputable university, science major is a plus.
• Previous Experience: Prior laboratory experience or hospital registration experience is a plus.
• Previous usage of ERP systems is a must.
• Excellent Communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent Organisational and time management skills.
• Good Knowledge of MS Office Company
