Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines
• Develop and optimise data ingestion, transformation, and storage systems
• Ensure data reliability, quality, and availability across the platform
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to support data use cases
• Implement monitoring, alerting

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with data engineering and distributed systems
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)
• Experience with modern data platforms (data lakes, warehouses, streaming systems)
• Familiarity with cloud-based data services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT, and pipeline orchestration
