About The Role

The DevHouse is looking for a Business Development Executive to help grow our pipeline across custom software, SaaS products, and technical consulting services.

This role is focused on new business generation. It is not an account management or customer support position.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Prospecting and engaging new leads (cold outreach, LinkedIn, calls, email)

Initiating and qualifying conversations with decision-makers

Running discovery calls to understand client needs

Positioning custom software and consulting solutions clearly

Moving opportunities through the pipeline toward closure

Collaborating with technical and leadership teams during pre-sales

Maintaining accurate pipeline and activity tracking in CRM tools

You will be expected to operate with a high level of ownership and independence.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in B2B sales or business development

Experience closing deals (not just booking meetings)

Comfort selling services or non-boxed solutions

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Ability to handle rejection and maintain consistent outreach

Results-driven mindset with clear accountability

Backgrounds that tend to do well in this role include:

B2B services or consulting sales

Company formation / professional services

Real estate or high-ticket B2B sales

Titles without measurable results

Pure account management or support-only experience

Certifications without real-world sales outcomes
