Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant, preferably in an engineering consultancy setting. The successful candidate will oversee the complete accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate invoicing, proper record maintenance, and timely collection of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing, credit control, and collections.
- Keep precise records of all accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare aging schedules and reconcile accounts to ensure payments are received on time.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Track overdue accounts and implement measures to ensure timely collection.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reporting on receivable balances.
- Provide documentation and reconciliations to support internal and external audits.
- Recommend and implement improvements to streamline accounts receivable processes.
 

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of practical experience in accounts receivable, ideally within an engineering consultancy. 
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, invoicing, and collections procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
