As part of the protocol team, you’ll work at the lowest levels of the stack to solve complex distributed systems problems and build secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement improvements to blockchain protocol layers (networking, consensus, state management, etc.)
- Develop new protocol features in languages such as Rust, Go, or C++
- Collaborate with cryptographers and researchers to implement cutting-edge consensus algorithms
- Optimize protocol performance for scalability, security, and decentralization
- Conduct rigorous testing and simulation of protocol upgrades or forks
- Review and audit peer code to ensure high standards of quality and security
Requirements
- Strong experience in systems-level programming (Rust, Go, or C++)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, or consensus protocols
- Familiarity with blockchain architecture and peer-to-peer networking
- Experience working on complex codebases or protocol-level projects
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Comfortable working in an async-first, remote team environmen
