The Opportunity
As the Product Specialist you will be reporting directly to the Lead, Oncology and be responsible for regional sales achievement across Greater Cairo whilst managing the Oncology portfolio. The position will be based out of Greater Cairo.
Key Activities
- Conduct pharmaceutical sales for the company and meet the sales targets
- Increase brand awareness and build a relationship with prospective and existing customers.
- Ensure that proper advertising and marketing
- are done through the medical product sales.
- Meet pharmaceutical sales targets, negotiate contracts, review pharmaceutical sales job performance, and draft reports on the same.
- Manage customer interactions in line with regional planning to ensure high impact sales calls.
- Maintain superior product and disease knowledge.
- Coordinate and collaborate with medical staff and healthcare providers through regular meetings.
- Understand the demographics of the territory and devise medical product sales strategies as per the territory.
- Conduct all activities in an ethical and compliant manner.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Proven experience within pharmaceutical sales as a Product Specialist or a similar role, with a global pharmaceutical organization in Egypt.
- Knowledge and experience in Oncology or specialty would be highly desirable.
- Governmental Sector Experience would be ideal.
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Experience with CRM & Veeva systems
- Strong negotiation and organization skills.
- Ability to travel independently and frequently.
Preferred Experience
- Product launch experience is highly preferred.
- Collaborative & Proactive in nature
Education
- Minimum Bachelors degree or equivalent
Additional Information
- This is a permanent, full time position
- Candidates should be based in Greater Cairo, Egypt
- This position is field based in Greater Cairo, Egypt with frequent travel up to 70% across the assigned territory.
- Flexibility may be required in line with business need.
