Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer (Shift Engineer) with a hotel engineering background and a mechanical specialization. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in maintenance operations. This role will be responsible for carrying out all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and following up on ongoing engineering projects to ensure timely and quality completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for all mechanical systems and equipment within the facility.
- Monitor
- , operate, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, pumps, boilers, and other mechanical systems.
- Inspect equipment and diagnose faults to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from different departments.
- Supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance and repair activities.
- Follow up on engineering projects and ensure completion according to plan and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation related to maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and hotel engineering standards.
- Support the engineering team during shifts and ensure smooth operation of all systems.
- Participate in energy-saving initiatives and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in the hospitality/hotel sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and hotel engineering functions.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and follow up on engineering projects.
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
