Job Description
- Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on all mechanical equipment and production machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose mechanical faults, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Supervise and coordinate with maintenance teams to execute scheduled maintenance activities efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory, requisition necessary materials, and ensure timely availability of critical components.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring mechanical failures and recommend long-term solutions.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and industrial machinery.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work onsite and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
