Responsible for closely monitoring the markets and advise the Retail & Sales Trading team on the stocks, bonds, or GDRs that their clients should buy or sell

Responsible for performing Profit & Loss assessment on the clients’ accounts in order to ensure that the buy/ sell order requested would be profitable

Reviews clients’ cash balance before executing buying transactions in order to avoid exposure

Ensures that confirmations are granted from clients on the requested buy and sell transactions

Assisting the senior trader in opening accounts for new clients. Revises all transactions after every session to ensure that all the transactions were executed with the exact amount and prices

Provides clients with a summarized report of all their transactions by end of each quarter to sign it

Process clients’ orders

Establishes new clients' relationships and new brokerage accounts

Assists clients in creating strategies that meets their financial goals

Promotes and sells CIBC's financial services and products based on solid market knowledge

Contacts prospect clients through visits, phone calls and emails

Minimizes trading errors

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in the brokerage field
