Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cairo for an Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator's responsibilities include planning and executing events, managing logistical and operational details, coordinating with clients, and ensuring strong communication with vendors and stakeholders. The role involves monitoring budgets, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring events meet client expectations. Collaboration with internal teams to align events with organizational objectives is also an integral part of the position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept to completion.
- Communicate with vendors, venues, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure all logistics are aligned.
- Prepare event timelines, checklists, and briefing documents.
- Support on-site event setup, execution, and breakdown; ensure all elements run smoothly.
- Coordinate with creative and production teams to deliver all event materials on time.
- Handle administrative tasks (budgets, invoices, timelines, booking forms).
- Conduct research on venues, trends, suppliers, and new event ideas.
- Manage event documentation, approvals, and internal workflows.
- Provide post-event recap reports and improvement recommendations.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, operations, or a similar role (agency experience is a plus).
- Event Planning and Event Management skills to successfully organize and execute events
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to support events that may occur outside regular working hours.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for creating experiences.
- Sales expertise to promote events and secure partnerships or sponsors
