Responsibilities:

HSE Management System Development

Develop and implement an integrated Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) in alignment with National and International Standards, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.

Regularly review and update HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the HSE Management System and recommend improvements.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits across all sites to identify and mitigate potential health, safety, and environmental hazards.

Develop site-specific Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs) for current and future projects.

Ensure robust emergency response plans are in place and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.

Team Leadership and Development

Define roles and responsibilities for all HSE team members and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Provide training and professional development opportunities for the HSE team and other employees.

Compliance and Reporting

Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.

Prepare and submit timely HSE reports to internal stakeholders and external entities, including National and International Standards.

Develop processes to promptly notify National and International Standards of significant environmental or social incidents.

Contractor and Supplier Management

Establish a formal supplier and contractor selection process incorporating environmental and social criteria.

Monitor contractor compliance with HSE standards, particularly regarding the supply chain for electric vehicle batteries.

Address environmental and social issues identified during supplier evaluations.

Stakeholder Engagement and Grievance Mechanisms

Build and maintain effective grievance mechanisms for employees and external stakeholders.

Facilitate workshops and awareness programs on key topics such as gender-based violence and harassment (GBVH).

Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns and foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Continuous Improvement

Monitor industry trends and implement best practices in health, safety, and environmental management.

Drive initiatives to enhance workplace safety, reduce environmental impact, and promote sustainability.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management.

Proven track record of implementing HSE management systems and achieving ISO certifications.

Experience in working with national and international standards.

Fluent in English verbal and written.

ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or equivalent certification.

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety.للتقديم الان
