Job Description

• Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on production equipment, with a strong focus on plastic injection molding machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, particularly related to hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal machine performance.
• Conduct machine setup, calibration, and routine inspections to maintain molding quality and production continuity.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans in line with OEM guidelines, production needs, and safety standards.
• Support production teams during machine startups, mold changes, and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, breakdown reports, spare parts usage, and machine history logs.
• Supervise and guide technicians and junior maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with technical procedures and safety practices.
• Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers for spare parts, molds, and specialized maintenance services.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring mechanical and molding defects and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, machine safety standards, and factory policies.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment (chillers, dryers, compressors).

Job Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in plastic injection molding factories.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience in small/medium appliance or FMCG manufacturing is a strong advantage.
