Job Overview:

ZonNet is a fast-growing digital transformation company, currently undergoing a significant scaling phase. with a remote-first work model that supports flexibility, autonomy, and high-performing distributed teams. We specialize in building enterprise-grade platforms, with a focus on the EdTech sector, we are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to fortify our technical infrastructure. In this role, you will be the guardian of our systems, ensuring that our development, testing, and production environments are secure, scalable, and highly available. You will work closely with the CTO and the Technical Lead to build robust CI/CD pipelines and automate our operational processes.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Design, maintain, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean) with high availability and disaster recovery.

· Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for automated and secure deployments.

· Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

· Set up monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) to detect and resolve issues.

· Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and secure configurations.

· Automate operational tasks with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (Bash, Python, Go).

· Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

· Manage code repository access with SSO, enforce Branch Protection Rules, and securely handle secrets (environment variables, API keys, credentials).

· Enforce security protocols for remote developers, including VPN, secure SSH, and MFA.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC) or equivalent cloud services.
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Strong scripting skills in Linux Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.
• Demonstrated experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with Terraform or Ansible is a strong (IaC Tools) plus.
• Proficient in Git workflows and branching strategies.
