About the Role
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, for an SEO Content Writer. You will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing content across multiple channels while ensuring strong SEO performance and a consistent brand voice. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and technical teams to align content with overall business goals.
Responsibilities
- Research, write, and optimize high-converting content for multiple platforms (blogs, websites, landing pages, and social media).
- Apply SEO best practices throughout the content creation process to improve visibility and organic performance.
- Create short, informative educational videos by repurposing existing content assets.
- Measure the performance and impact of content through basic web analytics and content KPIs to inform optimization and future content planning.
- Work closely with the social media team to increase blog visibility, referral traffic, and user engagement.
- Audit existing content to identify gaps, outdated information, UX issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support UX writing efforts, including microcopy, CTAs, and form labels.
- Translate PR materials, including press releases, company announcements, and thought leadership articles.
- Support PR initiatives by producing written content for company-hosted meetups, internship programs, and industry-related events.
- Contribute to the company’s LinkedIn presence by creating and repurposing organic content aligned with brand voice and business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in content marketing or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to create visually appealing content using Canva or similar design tools.
- Experience with SEMrush is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console) is a plus.
- Experience using WordPress is a plus.
