Role Purpose

The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil or MEP construction works. The role supports the tendering team by delivering technically sound and cost-effective proposals that align with project requirements and company strategy. It requires strong technical understanding of civil or MEP construction activities and the ability to analyse and validate quantities, pricing, and market conditions

Key Accountabilities

• Review tender documents including drawings, specifications, and scope of work.

• Prepare BOQs and detailed cost estimates for civil and MEP works.

• Request, analyze, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Collaborate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for accurate quantity surveying.

• Support preparation of technical and financial proposals.

• Attend clarification meetings and provide technical input when required.

• Participate in value engineering and cost benchmarking activities.

• Maintain updated estimation records and pricing databases.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in civil or MEP estimation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.

• Strong understanding of civil/MEP construction practices and material pricing.

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
