We are a real estate developer with an in-house design team, seeking a senior Development Design Manager who can balance creative thinking with development discipline.

This role is for a leader who believes that strong design creates value, but only when it is buildable, feasible, and commercially sound.

Your role will include:

• Leading creative design direction while maintaining development discipline.

• Translating feasibility and commercial targets into inspiring, achievable design concepts.

• Controlling design from concept to IFC.

• Leading and mentoring the in-house design team.

• Challenging weak ideas — from designers and stakeholders.

• Ensuring constructability, authority compliance, and cost alignment.

• Driving value engineering without killing design intent.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has an architectural background with strong design sensibility.

• Has 12+ years of experience in real estate development or developer-side roles.

• Understands how design impacts IRR, leasing, operations, and branding.

• Can say “yes” to good ideas and “no” to expensive mistakes.

• Is confident leading both creative discussions and hard decisions.
