- Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using industry-standard software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Analyze project progress and forecast timelines, identifying potential delays and proposing mitigation measures.
- Optimize resource planning to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Identify project risks, perform impact assessments, and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to align planning objectives with project deliverables.
- Lead meetings to present project schedules and updates to clients and internal teams.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports, including critical path analysis and earned value management (EVM).
- Establish KPIs and ensure project performance aligns with contractual requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of five years of planning experience in the construction industry, with a strong track record in delivering large and complex projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and advanced MS Excel.
- Solid understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and project control systems.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
- PMP (Project Management Professional), PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional), or similar certifications are preferred.
