Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, fast, and reliable Data Entry Associate to support our accounting team by accurately entering, validating, and maintaining financial data within our accounting systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset, and will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract and verify key information from uploaded documents, including document date, invoice number, supplier/vendor name, amounts, and other relevant fields.
- Accurately update and maintain data within the company’s accounting systems.
- Segregate documents by type (e.g., invoices, bills, statements, receipts) and ensure proper categorization and labelling.
- Identify, review, and resolve duplicate documents; flag potential duplicates for further review when required.
- Collaborate with accountants and clients to obtain clarifications or resolve discrepancies as needed. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
- Proven experience in data entry with strong keyboarding skills. Excellent attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to work.
