Vacancy: International Logistics Specialist
Company Overview:
We are a leading supplier and service provider of oilfield equipment.
We are looking for an International Logistics Specialist to manage and coordinate global import and export operations, ensure customs compliance, and support efficient end-to-end logistics processes across multiple regions.
Location: Cairo, 5th Settlement
Working Hours:
Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required (overtime is compensated).
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate international import and export shipments
· Manage customs clearance processes in cooperation with customs brokers
· Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth logistics operations
· Prepare, review, and control all shipping and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with Free Zone and international trade regulations
· Select and manage transportation providers, including rate negotiation, scheduling, and performance monitoring
· Plan and coordinate transportation activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
· Prepare monthly import and export reports for management review
· Maintain accurate logistics records and data in ERP systems and internal trackers
· Support audits and internal controls related to logistics and customs activities
Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical/economics field.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Logistics. Experience of work with Free Zones is an advantage
· Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken). Ability to communicate daily in English is crucial, as the direct manager communicates exclusively in English
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems.
· Personal Skills: Team player with excellent organizational and time management skills.
