Job Summary:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading the company’s financial function, ensuring financial stability, compliance, and strategic support for business growth. The role plays a critical part in financial planning, performance management, and decision support, reporting directly to the Head of the Financial Sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all financial activities, including accounting, cost accounting, taxation, and treasury functions.
- Prepare financial statements and periodic financial reports in accordance with approved accounting standards.
- Oversee SAP (Finance
- & Controlling) and ensure effective integration between financial and operational systems.
- Develop and enhance industrial cost accounting systems, including variance analysis and pricing support.
- Prepare annual budgets and short- and long-term financial plans, and monitor actual performance against plans.
- Manage liquidity, cash flow, banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing arrangements.
- Supervise tax compliance, manage tax inspections, and report the company’s tax position to senior management.
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance principles, internal controls, and financial risk management practices.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team while building a strong succession pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA, ACCA) are preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance.
- At least 4
- years in a Finance Manager role within a large industrial or manufacturing company.
- Proven experience in high-volume, high-revenue industrial environments.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of industrial cost accounting.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of Egyptian taxation and regulatory requirements.
- Solid experience in treasury, cash flow, and banking operations.
- SAP (Finance & Controlling) – advanced user.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Very good command of English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth industrial environment.
- Capability to support strategic decision-making with accurate financial insights.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.
- Ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams.
