CiviTech is seeking a motivated *Structural Design Engineer* with strong knowledge in reinforced concrete design and/or steel design to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will work on structural design, analysis, and preparation of technical drawings and reports across various building and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

* Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete elements (slabs, beams, columns, foundations, retaining structures… etc.)

*Steel structures (industrial buildings, frames, trusses, connections)

* Prepare and review structural drawings, shop drawings, and design calculations

* Coordinate with geotechnical, architectural, and MEP teams throughout design stages

* Participate in technical reports, BOQ, and specifications preparation

* Assist in site technical support and resolving construction-related queries

* Ensure compliance with *Egyptian Codes* and relevant international standards

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

* 2–3 years of experience in structural design

* Proficiency: in concrete ETABS, SAFE, SAP, AutoCAD (REVIT is a plus); in steel SAP and IDEA StatiCa (STAAD, Tekla is a plus)

* Solid understanding of structural behavior and practical design principles

* Good knowledge of *Egyptian Code* (and familiarity with ACI/BS standards is beneficial)

* Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills

* Ability to work within a team and manage tasks efficiently

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

* Experience in foundation systems and soil-structure interaction

* Knowledge in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings

* Previous consultancy experience
