Role Purpose
The Mechanical Supervisor will oversee and coordinate mechanical works on-site, ensuring tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. The role focuses on supervising technicians and workers, monitoring progress, and supporting smooth site operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Supervise daily mechanical activities and ensure proper execution as per instructions and site requirements.
- Assign tasks to technicians and workers, monitoring progress and quality of work.
- Ensure compliance with HSE rules and safe working practices at all times.
- Assist engineers and site management in resolving basic mechanical issues on-site.
- Report daily progress, manpower, and site issues to site engineers or project managers.
- Coordinate with other trades and teams to support smooth workflow.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in proper condition.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in supervising mechanical works on construction sites.
- Preferably holds an educational certificate (vocational, technical, or general education).
- At minimum, must be able to read and write in Arabic.
- Basic understanding of mechanical tools, materials, and site practices.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and manage site workers effectively.
