Role Summary

This role will support end-to-end procurement, including vendor sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, purchase orders, and timely delivery. It handles disputes, optimizes spend, maintains supplier agreements, and ensures compliance with HSE and risk policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect data from requesters and clarify purchase requisition details (UOM, need-by date, delivery location, item specifications)
• Source new vendors and update the Averda Preferred Vendor list
• Conduct RFQs, select suppliers, review T&Cs, and negotiate commercials
• Prepare purchase orders as required
• Ensure timely delivery by monitoring and following up on POs
• Resolve vendor and requester disputes related to quality, service, warranty, and delivery
• Identify spend optimization opportunities across categories
• Create, maintain, and amend supplier agreements and contracts
• Perform vendor market assessment and evaluation
• Coordinate with the business shared service center for transactional activities
• Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment policies
• Support risk management initiatives as directed by line manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business
• CIPS Diploma (Advantageous)

Eligibility

• Saudi Nationals only

Experience

• 5 years of experience in maintenance and spare parts procurement

Technical Qualifications

• Proficient in MS application (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint)
• Oracle / Sage / SAP advantageous

• Customer focus
• English is a must (written and spoken)
• Arabic is advantageous
