We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to support Oil & Gas engineering projects. The role is responsible for planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and coordination with project stakeholders to ensure timely execution of engineering deliverables in line with project requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesReport directly to the Project Engineering Manager on the progress and activities of all engineering disciplinesCoordinate on a day-to-day basis with the Contractor’s Project Planning Manager / Engineer for project control, planning, and reporting activitiesMonitor and track the progress of engineering works, schedules, and activities across all disciplinesPrepare and issue bi-weekly and monthly progress reports as per project requirementsPrepare, issue, and track progress invoices, including follow-up on payment receiptsMaintain and follow up on action lists, identifying and highlighting issues that may impact project progressEstablish and maintain project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or equivalent software to track project progressEnsure each engineering discipline submits documents as per the approved document submission planIdentify delays and prepare catch-up / recovery plans in coordination with discipline leadsIndependently develop and manage the engineering document submission schedule, ensuring logical sequencing for Oil & Gas projectsEnsure planning activities align with project milestones, contractual requirements, and reporting standardsKey Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any discipline)8–15 years of experience in Planning / Project Controls for Oil & Gas or EPC projectsProven experience in engineering phase planning and controlStrong exposure to multidisciplinary engineering coordinationFamiliar with Primavera P6 (mandatory), MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Other project management / planning tools (advantage)Strong analytical and reporting skillsExcellent coordination and communication abilitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionGood understanding of engineering deliverables and document control logic for Oil & Gas projectsExperience interfacing with Client / PMC / Contractor teams
