Job Summary:
The Marketing Junior Events Specialist supports the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing events, activations, and promotional activities across SODIC Clubs.
The role focuses on ensuring smooth event operations, brand consistency, member engagement, and effective coordination with internal teams and external vendors to enhance club visibility and member experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning & Coordination
• Assist in planning and organizing marketing events, promotions, activations, and campaigns across all SODIC Clubs.
• Support the preparation of event timelines, checklists, budgets, and logistics plans.
• Coordinate event requirements such as venue setup, branding materials, equipment, permits, and manpower.
2. Event Execution
• Support on-ground execution of events to ensure smooth operations and adherence to approved plans.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, entertainers, coaches, and service providers before and during events.
• Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and according to brand guidelines.
3. Marketing & Branding Support
• Ensure brand visibility and correct usage of branding materials during events and activations.
• Assist in preparing event-related marketing materials (banners, signage, giveaways, brochures).
• Coordinate with the design and digital teams for event creatives and promotional content.
4. Internal Coordination
• Liaise with club operations, sports, F&B, security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure event readiness.
• Support communication with CRM and Memberships teams to promote events and enhance member engagement.
5. Vendor & Supplier Management
• Assist in sourcing quotations from vendors and suppliers as per procurement procedures.
• Support vendor coordination, follow-ups, and service quality monitoring during events.
6. Reporting & Evaluation
• Assist in preparing post-event reports, including attendance, feedback, issues, and recommendations.
• Collect participant feedback and support event performance analysis.
• Maintain event documentation, records, and photo/video archives.
7. Administrative Support
• Assist with purchase requests, invoices follow-up, and budget tracking related to events.
• Maintain updated event calendars and activation schedules.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in marketing, events, or brand activation roles.
• Experience in clubs, hospitality, sports, lifestyle, or service industries is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
• Basic understanding of marketing and branding concepts
• Creative & proactive mindset with the ability to suggest fresh ideas for member interactions.
• Flexible to work weekends and evenings, as required by the event calendar
• Good command of English and Arabic (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
