Role Overview:
HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Lead is responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety protocols, environmental compliance, and occupational health standards across both operational and administrative areas. They lead risk assessments, coordinate emergency response plans, ensure regulatory adherence, and promote a culture of safety through training and continuous improvement. Their role bridges the needs of production and office environments, ensuring that all personnel work ina safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible
setting.
In your role you will:
- Conduct safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and manage safety programs, including emergency response plans and prevention initiatives.
- Provide safety training to ensure employees understand and follow safety procedures.
- Ensure environmental and safety compliance, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate documentation.
The ideal candidate has:
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a relevant field Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate (Advanced)
- OSHA, NEBOSH Certifications are highly recommended
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing facilities, preferably in food and beverage.
Nice to have:
- Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards, hazard identification, risk assessment, first aid, and documentation requirements.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective training, ensuring clear communication and understanding of safety and environmental practices.
- Proven leadership skills, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and a positive work culture while supporting employee growth.
- Effective communication and conflictresolution abilities, ensuring clarity, constructive feedback, and a productive work environment.
- Goaloriented and adaptable mindset, with skills
- in change management and resilience when facing challenges or organizational transitions.
