Responsibilities:

•Document Risk management policies and procedures in the Risk Management credit policy manual.

•Ensure that all risk policies are adhering to CBE regulations and are in line with BM strategy.

•Study retail limit and deviation cases referred from underwriting team prior obtaining Retail Credit Risk Head approval in line with the existing delegation matrix

•Prepare the inputs to the periodic retail credit risk packs in addition to regular internal reporting for Credit Risk management.

•Regularly update the product policy calendar which documents the different changes to lending framework and policy rules.

•Work with Product and Assessment to find ways to improve approval rate.

•Monitor

data quality and compliance of underwriting decisions to the existing credit policies & ensure abiding by delegation matrix.

•Work with product & IT team to ensure that credit & core banking systems fit for purpose in order to mitigate any possible credit or operational risks.

•Liaise with Retail M&C/Post approval review team on understanding error rates of assessment unit and clear any misunderstanding to the policy rules.

Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor's degree preferable advanced studies.
• Experience: Experience From 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of Retail Products in the market.
• Strong knowledge of Retail Credit Standards and policies.
