Job Description
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission SCADA (Power Operation) systems on client sites
- Integrate and test field devices: RTUs, relays, power meters, and HMIs
- Design dashboards and alarm logic for live system monitoring
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Manage firmware updates, security patches, and system backups
- Troubleshoot system issues and deliver L2 technical support
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and configuration files
- Train client engineers (on-site or remotely) on system usage and protocols
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Power specialization preferred)
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SCADA system installation and commissioning
- Mandatory: Proven experience with Schneider EcoStruxure Power Operation
- Solid understanding of:
- Electrical protection systems
- Automation protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850)
- Medium voltage architecture
- Excellent command of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools
- Strong English and Arabic communication skills (spoken & written)
- Schneider certifications (e.g. for RTUs, relays, or EcoStruxure) are a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required by project timelines
