Job Description
An Architectural Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing the execution of architectural works on a project site to ensure compliance with designs, technical specifications, timelines, and budget. The engineer coordinates between various project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and workers, and resolves any issues or challenges that may arise on-site to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise all architectural works on site, including internal and external finishes, insulation, painting, flooring, ceilings, doors, windows, and other related elements.
- Ensure that all executed works fully comply with architectural drawings, technical specifications, and quality and safety standards.
- Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications, providing necessary clarifications to execution teams.
- Identify and secure necessary materials and equipment for architectural works in coordination with the procurement department.
- Monitor work progress against established schedules and provide regular reports.
- Identify potential problems on site and propose effective solutions.
- Ensure the implementation of occupational health and safety procedures at all times.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project status and work progress.
- Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines (civil, electromechanical, etc.) to ensure integration across all project phases.
- Manage and properly document any changes to design or execution.
- Participate in site meetings and technical reviews.
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
Practical experience in supervising construction and architectural projects.
Good understanding of local building codes, quality, and safety standards.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
