Facilitate Child-Led Play: Observe and interact with children during play, providing support, asking open-ended questions, and extending their learning experiences.
* Create a Nurturing Environment: Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating atmosphere where children feel comfortable to explore, experiment, and express themselves.
* Build Relationships with Children: Develop positive and supportive relationships with each child, understanding their individual needs and interests.
* Communicate with Parents: Clearly articulate the benefits and philosophy of our play-based program to prospective and current parents, highlighting the unique services we offer.
* Observe and Document Progress: Monitor children's development and progress, using observations to inform activity planning and parent communication.
* Maintain a Tidy and Organized Classroom: Ensure the learning environment is clean, organized, and inviting for children.
* Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with other staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience working with young children in a play-based or early childhood education setting.
* A deep understanding of child development and the principles of play-based learning.
