Mechanical Technical Office Engineer (6–9 Years of Experience)

6th of October City – Head Office

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join our team for a major project in 6th of October City. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing mechanical designs, preparing shop drawings, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring that all work complies with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Study project specifications, BOQs, and drawings to prepare detailed material take-offs.
• Coordinate with site teams and other technical departments (Electrical, Civil, etc.).
• Follow up on the material submittal process and ensure compliance with client/consultant requirements.
• Assist in preparing RFIs, method statements, and technical reports.
• Support procurement by providing accurate technical data for required materials and equipment.
• Participate in solving technical problems and providing practical solutions.
• Ensure all work aligns with safety regulations and company quality standards.
 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in technical office roles within the construction field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with local and international mechanical codes and standards.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
