Job Description

1- Testing & Validation:

• Conduct routine and type testing for refrigerators according to internal standards and international benchmarks (e.g., ISO, IEC, SASO, GB).
• Validate product compliance against quality and safety specifications (voltage, cooling performance, insulation, mechanical integrity, etc.).

2- Laboratory Operations:

• Operate test benches, data loggers, and measurement instruments (thermocouples, multimeters, power analysers).
• Maintain proper documentation of test results, and generate technical reports for R&D and quality teams.

3- Calibration & Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure periodic calibration of lab instruments and maintain calibration records (in accordance with ISO 17025).
• Perform basic troubleshooting and ensure equipment availability and reliability.

4- Process Improvement:

• Support root cause analysis (RCA) of field complaints and production defects using lab testing insights.
• Propose technical improvements for testing methods or product design based on test outcomes.

5- Compliance & Audits:

• Assist in external audits (e.g., SASO, GMark, CCC, ISO) by providing test records and demonstrating lab compliance.
• Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards within the lab.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Production only). Science degrees are not eligible .
• ( 1–3 ) years in Quality role within a Home Appliances / White Goods manufacturing factory, preferably refrigerators .
• Understand ISO9001 quality system and basic knowledge of reliability .
• Good command of English – written and spoken .
