Job Description

Job Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations. This role involves preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes, and supporting financial audits. The General Accountant plays a key role in providing timely and reliable financial information to support decision-making and ensure the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls, including audits and tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow and support treasury operations as needed

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including commercial, operations, and procurement to ensure financial alignment.

• Hands-on experience in working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems, especially Oracle.
