Context
Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & Cooling Systems)
Missions/Main Duties
Responsible for the design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure all HVAC deisgn comply with Dubai Municipality/DEWA/ and other relevant local and international standards.
Supervise Back of house design work.
Coordinate with multidisciplinery teams to resolve clashes, ensure spatial planning, and integrate sustainable energy- efficient solutions.
Profile/Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Relevant certifications are advantageous
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in design of HVAC and cooling systems, preferably for metro rail or large infrastructure projects.
Background
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of HVAC system components (chillers, AHUs, ductwork, etc.), BIM/design software proficiency, experience with Dubai’s regulatory processes, and BIM/design tool proficiency required.
Successful track record on rail and metro projects.
Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
Preferably with UAE experience, GCC experience would be advantageous.
