Job Description

The Restaurant Hostess plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests at our establishment in Al Kuwait. This position requires a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. As the first point of contact for guests, the hostess sets the tone for their dining experience, ensuring that each visitor feels valued and attended to. Responsibilities:

1. Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
2. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
3. Assist in seating guests promptly and efficiently to minimize wait times.
4. Provide information about the menu and specials to guests.
5. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
6. Coordinate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area.
8. Assist in training new host staff as needed.
9. Monitor dining room activity and adjust seating arrangements accordingly.
10. Participate in team meetings to discuss service improvements and guest feedback.
