At Lucidya, we are looking for a talented and experienced Frontend Developer to join our growing engineering team.
As a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for implementing intuitive and high-performance user interfaces using modern web technologies. You’ll work closely with our UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect components and with backend developers to deliver seamless product experiences. You’ll be joining a company at the forefront of Machine Learning and Big Data analytics, helping customers gain powerful insights from complex social and digital content.

Responsibilities
- Convert visual designs into responsive, pixel-perfect JSX components.
- Build and maintain scalable front-end applications using React, MUI, Redux, and React Query.
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests using tools such as Jest or React Testing Library.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Maintain a clean and well-structured codebase with Git and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance and handle browser-specific behavior.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and propose improvements where needed.
- Using project management software to track and report on projects
- Contribute to the growth of Lucidya through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
- Deep experience with ReactJS and its ecosystem (including Redux and React Query).
- Knowledge of real-time communication tools such as WebSockets and message brokers like RabbitMQ.
- Hands-on experience with Material UI (MUI) and custom theming.
- Proven ability to convert Figma designs to JSX with high visual and functional fidelity.
- Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience using Git and Git-based collaboration workflows.
- Proficiency in unit testing and test-driven development principles.
- Worked with teams before using an agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban)
- Perfect Quality code and front-end integration
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and tight timelines
