Job Description

The ICU Nurse - ER Nurse position in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is a critical role that requires a highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professional. This position involves providing specialized care to patients in critical condition, ensuring their safety and comfort during their stay in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Emergency Room (ER). The ideal candidate will be adept at handling high-pressure situations, making quick decisions, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess and monitor patients' vital signs and health status in the ICU and ER.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
3. Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
4. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all care provided.
6. Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced life support techniques when necessary.
7. Assist in the training and mentoring of junior nursing staff and students.
8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
9. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
10. Stay updated on the latest medical practices and technologies relevant to critical care nursing.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU or ER nursing.
3. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
6. Proficient in using medical equipment and technology.

Skills
