Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end execution of utility-scale Solar PV projects, from inception to commissioning.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower deployment, and resource planning. • Coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure timely communication.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
• Monitor and report project progress, KPIs, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management. • Lead project review meetings, site inspections, and HSE audits as required.
• Drive performance improvement and resolve project issues proactively.
• Oversee quality assurance and ensure the project meets technical specifications and standards.
• Attend review meetings, along with project & execution team as required when arranged by client.
• Ensure development and implementation of sub-contractor’s work plan and reporting/review mechanism.
• Ensure the periodic submission of all review reports on EHS, Quality and Schedule related items to Client as per contract.
• Develop strategy for Processing Claims and implement it with all relevant stakeholders including customers, suppliers, partners, insurances and other third parties.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 15 years of experience in project management within the Renewable Energy sector, with a strong track record in executing Solar PV projects (preferably 100 MW+).
• Prior experience in EPC or IPP environments is preferred.
• Proven leadership, contract management, and team coordination skills.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools (Primavera/MS Project) and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with HSE and QA/QC standards relevant to solar projects.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
• Willingness to work in remote/site-based locations as per project needs.
