We are seeking a technically skilled Sales Engineer to drive business growth by promoting and selling pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, machinery, and production lines to clients. In this role, you will combine technical expertise in pharma manufacturing with sales acumen to achieve revenue targets, build client relationships, and provide solutions that optimize their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets for vendor partners by promoting pharmaceutical machines, equipment, and production lines to manufacturers.
Provide technical consultations to clients on facility setup, production line design, and equipment selection (e.g., mixers, tablet presses, packaging lines, etc.).
Understand client needs and propose customized, compliant solutions.
Collaborate with engineering and vendor teams to develop URS (User Requirement Specifications), layouts, and cost-effective proposals.
Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and feasibility assessments to influence purchasing decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, CMOs, and engineering firms to identify new business opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to position products effectively.
Support contract negotiations, tender submissions, and post-sale follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field (MBA or commercial training a plus).
3+ years in technical sales, business development, or consulting for pharma equipment/machinery (e.g., bioreactors, filling lines, HVAC for cleanrooms).
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and regulatory compliance.
Proven ability to translate technical specs into business value and close deals.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client engagement skills.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and facility assessments.
