Key Job Details

As a Project Manager, you will play a lead role in planning, implementing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. You will be accountable for the entire project scope, team, resources, and overall success or failure.

Main Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate project goals and visions to ensure everyone understands and aligns with the objectives.
  • Plan and develop project ideas.
  • Estimate project costs and timelines.
  • Deliver project objectives to realize benefits.
  • Create and lead a high-performing team.
  • Monitor project progress and set deadlines.
  • Solve issues that arise during the project.
  • Manage the project budget.
  • Ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Evaluate project performance.

Project Duties

  • Serve as the point of contact for the Commercial team.
  • Provide project-specific training and briefings.
  • Train new Panelists, interviewers, and Supervisors.
  • Monitor adherence to quality standards and timelines.
  • Establish good relationships between project team members and the organization.
  • Prepare project payments within 3 days of data collection.
  • Select suitable project personnel.
  • Conduct field visits to ensure methodology adherence.
  • Assess interviewer performance and implement remedial actions.
  • Provide guidance and innovative solutions.
  • Offer feedback on briefings and field issues.
  • Report field concerns with solutions and timelines.
  • Ensure daily and interim team status updates.

Duties Beyond Projects

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training for field staff.
  • Manage resources for leave, training, and peak periods.
  • Control field costs and expenditures.
  • Maintain team well-being and balance.
  • Monitor field visit logs.
  • Undertake training initiatives for team members.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback.
  • Set SMART goals for team members with managerial support.

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Organizational awareness.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Leadership qualities.

You will need a high school diploma; university qualification is a plus. At least 5 years of administrative and people management experience, preferably in a field environment, is required. Fluency in Arabic and English; second language preferred. Knowledge of research processes and marketing research is advantageous. Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Willing to travel regularly and work weekends and after hours.
