This role reports to the Senior Director, International Field and Partner Marketing. The Senior Marketing Manager, Middle East, is a critical role which functions as a tightly aligned strategic member of the Ciena field and partner sales team.

- Conduct market analysis, identify key target audiences, and understand the competitive landscape within the ME region.
- Develop and manage the regional marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the ME region.
- Conduct market analysis, identify key target audiences, and understand the competitive landscape within the ME region.
Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
- Identify and prioritize key strategic accounts within the ME region

- Develop and execute targeted ABM campaigns to drive engagement and revenue within these accounts.
Partner & Reseller Marketing
- Develop and execute joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies with key partners and resellers in the ME region.
- Provide marketing support, training, and resources to partners to enable them to effectively promote Ciena solutions.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the telecommunications, datacenter, and networking landscape in the Middle East region.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the technology or telecommunications industry.
