Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Engineer to join our Security Systems division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate cost estimations for low current systems (including electrical, communication, and security technologies). This role requires a strong understanding of technical specifications, market prices, and quantity
surveying principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Study project drawings and technical specifications related to low current systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, data and voice, BMS, etc.) to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
Analyze bill of quantities (BOQ), vendor quotations, and tender documents to develop detailed pricing sheets.
Collaborate with the engineering and procurement teams to gather updated cost data, material prices, and labor rates.
Prepare complete cost breakdowns, comparing multiple vendor offers, and selecting optimal technical and commercial solutions.
Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bidding processes.
Maintain and update
a pricing database for materials, subcontractors, and system components.
Coordinate with designers and AutoCAD/Revit draftsmen to verify quantities and ensure alignment with project scope.
Attend clarification meetings and provide support for value engineering alternatives when necessary.
Ensure timely delivery of pricing files and estimations in alignment with deadlines and tender schedules.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), AutoCAD, and Revit.
Solid understanding of low current systems and MEP works.
High attention to detail with strong quantitative and financial analysis skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
Qualifications: No specific academic degree required.
