Job Description

A leading Industrial company located in Cairo is looking for a highly motivated Mechanical workshop engineer as follows:

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the mechanical workshop, including machining, fabrication, welding, scaffolding, Rigging and fitting tasks.
• Manage workshop personnel, ensuring optimal manpower allocation and productivity.
• Ensure availability and readiness of workshop tools, equipment, and machines.
• Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance tasks executed in the workshop.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of machined parts and welded structures.
• Perform root cause analysis of mechanical failures and recommend corrective measures.
• Prepare and review maintenance and inspection reports.
• Maintain effective documentation and record-keeping of workshop activities.
• Supervise the implementation of the engineering installations
• Review equipment’ periodic maintenance plans and insure its’ implementation
• Technical coordination with various departments to ensure the quality of the tasks’ implementation
• Analyzes deficiencies in equipment and supervises its’ necessary repairs
• Inspection of the received materials and spare parts

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Design & production Department
• Up to 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
• Fluency in English
• Good knowledge of using CAD software and CMMS ( ERP ) System
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work independently and within teamwork and meet deadlines
• Quick learner 
• Should be Cairo or Giza resident
