Responsibilities
- To act as a Lead Proposal Engineer on all process enquiries related to Process services involving Bolt Torquing and Tensioning, Flange Face machining, Cold Cutting, Hydrostatic Testing, Hot Tapping, Pipeline Flushing & Cleaning, Pipe Freezing, N2-He Leak Testing, etc.
- To act as the lead responsible person for planning, preparation, approvals, submission, and close-out of RFPs.
- Prepare and Lead Tender kick-off calls.
- Independently prepare Technical and Commercial proposal Documents.
- Independently carry out cost, time, and resource estimates for above mentioned scopes.
- Write methodologies and execution plans for all the Process services jobs specified above.
- Preparation of P&L, GP, GM, and cashflow reports.
- Preparation of manpower and equipment deployment plans.
- Deal with third parties to identify material and subcontracting costs.
- Technical and Commercial clarifications with the Client.
- Preparation of approval files, graphs, P&L sheets, cost breakdown etc.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain clear visibility of the progress on each tender.
- Deal with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD and other divisions for tender input in a timely manner and take their sign-off prior to submission of proposal.
- Follow the tender approval matrix and ensure correct approvals are in place on a timely manner
- Demonstrate with evidence the cost efficiencies achieved through the estimation process
- Continue to manage the monthly reporting data
- Dealing with pre- and post-tender clarifications
- Ensure compliance with the tender format
- Storyboard reviews through kick-off and progress calls for individual tenders
- Bring in innovative solutions on complex pricing schedules
- Management of tender folders on the server
- Any other tasks assigned by the Tendering Manager to support the workload.
